Heather Flanagan

Heather Flanagan was born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She moved to the sunshine state in 2000 to pursue a career in healthcare at the University of South Florida. Heather graduated Cum Laude from USF in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Her love for helping others guided her to the University of Florida, where she obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2007. She holds a board certification in Family Practice from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Heather is passionate about healing the total body and returning each patient to their optimal level of health. She feels mindset is a key part of reversing disease and promoting health. Heather sees the provider/patient relationship as a partnership where each party communicates effectively and works together to achieve optimal wellness. Each patient deserves education and empowerment to take their health into their own capable hands. Heather actively listens and seeks to find the answers behind your troublesome symptoms.

Heather has recently spent a lot of time in the medical care of Veterans and has developed a passion for helping these brave souls to regain their mind, body, and spiritual health. She is focused on Gulf War Syndrome/Illness and offers multiple functional medicine treatment strategies for each unique GWI case. In addition, Heather has a special interest in sustainable, metabolic weight loss, hormone balancing, skin concerns such as acne, eczema, & rosacea, hair loss, sexual dysfunction for both males & females, and musculoskeletal health.
